Addressing the Wes Staten Rumors

There are numerous rumors floating around cyberspace that Wes Staten, a 2012 Iowa State basketball commit via Sioux City West has had a change of heart.

It's been brought to my attention that Staten allegedly posted something on his Facebook page last night about this.

From what I've been able to dig up this morning, Staten is still verbally commited to Iowa State. I'll keep you guys posted, should I hear anything else in the coming days.

The good news is that there is still plenty of time to get some other great recruits for 2012. Having a big season this year will surely help.

Considering we have a couple of years to replace him, I don't think this would be meltdown worthy. Now if he was to sign this Nov, I could see it but not 2012.

i'm not "friends" with him, but we are both on the sioux city network so i was able to read it. i'm not going to copy and paste it over here though. it reads pretty bad is all i will say.
