I knew three different single mommas back in the day that would snort their kids ritalin. A one dollar prescription for 'rock' is what they called it. I never could understand how a drug meant to calm kids down was used as a replacement for meth.

Pretty sure some of the world's best entertainers have extreme hyper active attention deficit disorder. For some it's not a disease- it's a blessing.

To name a few. They never would have been famous if they had been drugged up as children. That's how I feel about my "condition." It's the way the creator wired me, and I'm okay with that. I still pay all my bills on time.

A blessing - the early-years drug addiction, the inability to have long-term relationships, the constant search for the adrenaline rush, the inability to focus on projects either at my home, school or in the workplace...

I must not have the "cool" kind of ADD.
