I was at the game cheering my head off for ISU, but for those who watched on TV how was the broadcast? I would've liked to hear Griese and Spielman and was just curious if they were fair and complimentary being Big 10 homers. Great game to be at and ISU has really elevated their level of play.

I'd have to say they were quite fair. I suppose there was a bit more talk about Nebraska....which is understandable given they were #7, but overall they were quite fair and quite complimentary.

Disagree. They dissed Arnaud constantly, and kept waiting for the NU big plays. besides the pick 6, it never happened.

I thought they were really good. Even handed. Lot's of times seems like you have Top 20 homers doing these broadcasts, but these guys were really fair to ISU.

Of course we gave them a heck of a game to watch!

The Pelini interview at half time was awesome. The guy came off as a complete dusche.:twitcy:

They were fair, especially Spielman who has become one of the best color analysts in the game. Greise just needs to retire. There were so many inaccuracies in what he was saying, it was clear he's not quite all there anymore.

You can watch the entire abc replay on ESPN3.com. The crowd was so loud yesterday truly a magical feeling. Helluva an effort by every cyclone. Love everything about this team!!

At the very beginning of the broadcast, they show Nebraska coming out onto the field and announce "Here come the Cornhuskers" then they show ISU coming onto the field. Like it was a Nebraska home game...

The announcers are usually as good as the game is. If Nebraska is rolling us, it would have been a Husker love-fest. Since it wasn't, they were genrally complimentary toward our team and especially ARob and CPR.

Spielman was his usual self..okay delivery, but still trying to understand a game of chess from a checkers mindset.
Griese has really slipped the past few years.

My favorite moment was when Helu fumbled and they were too busy talking about his highlight reel from last week to notice.

Also a classic moment when Bob Griese was asked how ISU could slow down Nebraska's rushing offense. And his response, "Nebraksa just needs to keep pounding the football and wear ISU down." Then Speilman had to jump in to answer the question. I'm not sure how well Griese can hear anymore.

Too me it seemed like they mostly talked about Nebraska with a smattering of "nice" complements about ISU. Basically the typical commentary when a top 10 is expected to roll an underling. I don't think they really got interested until the 4th quarter when it was obvious that this thing was going down to the wire.

Many probably didn't catch this but right before kickoff Speilman started to say "Corn-hol.." before stopping and saying Cornhuskers...

I thought the announcers did a good job. They REALLY talked up CPR which I thought was excellent, especially for recruiting purposes.

Let's be honest. The only reason that game was on TV was for Nebraska. So yes, they are going to lean a bit that way. Once we earn it, we'll get the same treatment. Won't that be nice? Woot woot!

GO STATE!!!

After looking through the results, the ISU-Nebraska game HAD to be the best televised game -- perioid.

That's just my humble opinion.

Speilman was so sure that Helu was going to break a big run. I bet he said it 15 times in a one quarter. Besides that they were fair but just kept figuring Neb was going on a run at some time.

I don't know I got this feeling, Helu is just gonna bust one. We saw it all last week, just sometime in here he is really gonna break one.....

I know where you are coming from, but Joe Pa's 400th victory had some serious historical implications to it.
