Aaron Rodgers

If the Bears were 7-9 and in the playoffs I would say they're a sh*tty team winning a sh*tty division so since there wasn't improvement internally, it doesn't matter.

Sure they might sell out and pull out a playoff win but that won't last long or mean there's stability.

Don't even bring up Ryan Pace and his genius move to trade up for Trubisky. (Patrick Mahomes, is that you?)

Huh known jackass does jackass things.

Arrogant, perpetual chip on his shoulder, skilled QB. Packers just need to figure out if his skill is worth the drama. I personally am tired of it, but since he seems to be an advocate for Lazard, kind of hope he stays. Then part of me says he turns on everyone eventually. It’s not an easy call to make.

Peter King has an interesting solution - keep Rodgers for one more season, and then trade him. The way he laid it out, it makes perfect sense.

At this point, I'm wondering if Shailene isn't whispering in his ear, just a little bit........

If you recall, they eventually decided Favre's drama wasn't worth it. Of course, they knew what they had in Rodgers by then. Not so sure with Love just yet.

"come to LA with me... come to LA with me... come to LA with me"

Favre drama was just retire or not, and it was mostly different management then. And Rodgers has always been a jerk, don’t go blaming the current woman for that. I am still wondering why he didn’t just run the ball in for a TD last playoff game too.

King really going out on a limb there. Packers have been telegraphing that move since last year. The best out for them is after this year, contract wise. The dead cap hit would still be big, but far less than the 38 million it would be this year, and they'd still have Love locked up for 3 additional year on his rookie contract.
Green Bay is pretty obviously looking to get out of the Aaron Rodgers business after this season. But, the question is, to what degree is Rodgers be obstinate, and how much is GB willing to tolerate? Depending on how petty he plays it, he can make things uncomfortable for the team. I'm not sure we know exactly how stubborn AR will be, but we know how stubborn he CAN be, so it will be interesting to watch it play out.

I would do whatever she wanted

I love Favre, but I'm quite sure he was loving the drama too. He can't keep his mug out of the spotlight even now.

And I'm not blaming her for anything - but if they're going to be married, obviously she'll have some say in his life. And it appears he respects and listens to her.

I don't know. Isn't she the one who extolled the virtues of getting a regular sun tan on her vajingo? Might be okay now, but eventually that's going to take its toll. Like getting it on with a moccasin.
I feel like then Aaron upgrades to his 2nd wife

Have a ton of respect for Rodgers as a quarterback. Always have. However, the dude seems like the complete opposite of the type of person I'd ever want to just go and grab a beer with.
Not taking himself too seriously does not seem to be in his skill set.

Could be he's just been in one spot for 14 years and wants a change, if he had just come out and said that he'd probably garner more respect.

It just gets stranger by the week. Now according former teammate Jones, Rodgers' issue is not with the GM but some phone call that he had which has to remain private.
Makes you wonder if Rodgers has ever told the Packers what he really wants.

He didn't really want them to win?
