Per A&M spokesman Jason Cook -

Cook said A&M has not turned down the Pac-10 and denied Orangebloods.com's report to that effect, citing a Big 12 AD's confirmation.

At least things are starting to fit together. I log into CF and the top two threads are "A&M turns down Pac 10 Invite" then "A&M still considering Pac 10"

Officially, texas a&m is considering all options. Unofficially, TAMU has told the pac-10 it isnt interested.

How about everyone put there Johnsons in there pants until we know whats going down. I mean do we need 400 theory threads?

Its june... its not like much else would normally be going on here during the summer.

Do you guys think A&M will go to the SEC? Haven't they wanted to go there for a very long time?

Yes, they have. I think it has a strong chance of happening. Maybe they go big 12 if the deal is good enough (and texas doesnt implode things by turning that deal down as well).. but i've never really seen the PAC-10 as a good option for TAMU

I was thinking that earlier today. For all of the uncertainty and uneasiness of this whole thing, at least we all have something to talk about in June besides "What's your favorite Nickelback song?"

Not sure I'd call a statement from the school's athletic department a theory. But I get your point. This is the proverbial Chinese fire drill.

don't forget about the SEC

Yeah, their fans are pretty certain about what they want.
