Everyone speaks of our history and tradition. This shows how little we actually have. What is true is the LE gave us the best years BB fans had ever had and, once we tasted winning, no one wanted to go back to losing.

Exactly. If the chart would have been plotted back to 1908 the results would have even more impact. The years shown are about the best years that we have ever had and they are not particularly outstanding.

It's been some time since I last took a stat class, but that trend is not something that is fun to look at toward the end of that graph

Actually both are used. Personally I don't like seeing "an" historical, but it is used in academic texts regularly.

Until this year - conference game wise. TO be fair a guy who gives us conference titles and Elite 8 appearances has some bank to be able to have a bad year now and then. A guy who hasn't sniffed .500 in convference for this long - not so much.
