97-98 Bulls Documentary (The Last Dance)

Excited for this. Gonna make me appreciate it even more since there are no sports currently.

Supposedly this shows how much of a jerk MJ really was. Should be a fun watch.

I feel like this is pretty well established at this point. I feel like every conversation about Jordan starts out with a discussion arguing if he was the greatest followed by someone telling you what a jerk he really was as if it's something only they know. "Did you know he punched Steve Kerr in practice?!"

I’ve been looking for forward to this since they announced it. Wasn’t that almost a year ago?

Listening to the radio yesterday, if you remember Lavar Arrington the football player, he said he was casual friends with MJ. He said you'd be shocked at how nice Mike was in public. Specifically talked about a casino story.

But Mike on the court was ruthless. Absolutely killer attitude.

We knew things had happened but the first time I really saw how much of a weirdo he was, was the HOF speech in 2009.

His competitiveness while incredible was also maybe certifiable.

He was an obsessive competitor. It's why he's the GOAT over LeBron.

LeBron had a finals where his scoring dropped ten points from his regular season average. He was being nice and deferring. They lost because of it.

MJ's playoff scoring average may be the most untouchable record in sports. He played in a low scoring defensive era and today's legendary players in a high scoring era can't even come close

I don't think the on court accomplishments documented in this piece is what Jordan is worried about.

If he's a nice guy he probably has 3 or 4 rings, almost certainly not 6.

There are some circumstances where a truly great individual taking total control maximizes results.

I'm not sure it's possible to be like that on the court and not a self centered ego maniac off it.

Jesus, knew this would turn into a MJ vs LeBron debate quick. Can this thread just focus on the doc?
