80s Comedy Movies

I'm stunned that nobody mentioned:

The Breakfast Club

The 80's were loaded with great comedies

Fun thread. A lot of these don't hold up as well over the years, but I still love 'em for the nostalgia. I'll add a couple that I haven't seen mentioned yet:

Mel Brooks History of the World: Part I
Clue

Reactions: GTO
Caddyshack (mentioned?)
Peewee's Big Adventure
Scrooged
Spaceballs (mentioned?)

looks like somehow "Risky Business" has slipped through the cracks of this thread and wasn't mentioned. One of the best lines ever "geez, I have a trigonometry mid term tomorrow and I have Guido the killer pimp chasing us"

I could have sworn animal house was early 80s..nope.

No, but that kind of got everything started. You know the formula or the genre the successfully made over and over again in the 80s. Many movies in this thread were of the Animal House mold.

I don't know if anyone mentioned this but:
My Favorite Year (1982)--about live television comedy shows circa 1954. Saw it for the first time last night. I haven't laughed so hard in a long time.

Although technically not an 80s movie (released in December of 79') I always got a kick out of 1941. I think it had pretty poor reviews at the time but I liked it, and how can you go wrong with John Belushi as a P40 pilot...

Didn't they shoot the ferris wheel in that movie?
