80-35 2016

I also think Haim and Lotus.... Friend of mine said he heard Decemberists too but I don't see anything in the video....

I hate these clue things they put out. Have they said when they will actually announce the lineup?

I think April 6th, but I don't know if they'll announce the full lineup all at once or **** around and release the lineup a few acts at a time.

Probably only release a few acts. Seems like in past years they haven't had all the acts booked at once.

That was the rumor two years ago; I think the full lineup then wasn't set until late May or early June. IIRC last year they had the full lineup announced by mid April.

I think since they moved it back a week and started partnering with Basilica Block Party on headliners.

Small amounts of optimism come over me as the Summerfest announcement comes out...
Ryan Adams - Plays 7/10 in Milwaukee
Garbage - 7/6 in Milwaukee
Decemberists - 7/7
St. Paul and the Broken Bones(I know they were at Hinterland last year but they ruled!!) - 7/8
Violent Femmes - 7/7
311 - 7/10
Milky Chance - 7/6
Brian Fallon - 7/1

So I have come around to Nas being an act this year. Lyrically one of the smoothest rappers of all time. Wednesday is the lineup announcement, I hope for good surprises, but am prepared to be disappointed. Always a good time either way.

Illmatic is an amazing album.

Really hard to believe that came out 22 years ago.... Definitely agree, I did some sample listening to other tracks on newer albums, tremendously under appreciated artist imo...

Also forgot about the collabo album with Damian Marley, that is soo good!!!

That first post gave me no interest in this year's line up at all. Especially considering Hinterland's line up.

But I wouldn't say 80/35 has run it's course. Last year was awesome.
