7' 9" guy at the baylor game

someone told me that he is currently the 2nd tallest man in the world. he has some kind of disease. he was 6' 8" when he was 10 years old, now he is 7' 9" at age 23 and he is still growing because of the disease. he is not expected to live very long. he was at the game because he came with one of baylor's scouts.
It wasn't the Chinese guy, it was Igor from Minnesota.
I stood next to him... I'm almost 6'2" and I'm not sure that I could reach as high as he is tall. Simply amazing to see. I feel sorry for the guy because of his health problems. He's not able to move around very well (took the elevator to get to ground floor). He seemed nice enough from what I heard of him and saw.

Oh yeah, I walked right by him... wow... most people jump to dunk a ball. I think he has to crouch down a little to dunk one!
Yea I couldnt believe it when I saw him near the court... I saw him there while the players were warming up for the second half and he made the players even look short.... it was crazy. Id definately say he's a large guy.
It was Egor...he was at the Gateway where we stayed. He's 7-8 and has Giants disease. It was hard not to stare, he is absolutely huge. You could see physically he had challenges. It was nice of ISU to host him.
apparently someone went up to him and asked "May I ask you a question?" and without missing a beat, he said, "7'8"
