61 days until LOST

My wife loves LOST, and she is really good at anagrams.

When Jack entered the Hoffs/Drawlar funeral home in the season 3 finale, she went nuts yelling "This is the future!!!"

Hoffs/Drawlar=Flashfoward

Now, that is pretty sweet.

That being said, I think a lot of folks felt it was the future. It will be interesting to see how we get there. But mad props to your wife for coming up with that off the cuff!

As far as Heroes goes, the stories involving Parkman, HRG, Suresh, the Petrellis, and Sylar were still interesting. The New Orleans, Claire, and Hiro stories gave me a chance to go to the kitchen to get something to eat.

As far as Lost, I hope Gilligan doesn't mess up their chances of getting off the island again.

Lost is a brilliant show.

I stopped watching it for a while because it seemed like they never explained any of the mysteries but was convinced to catch up on DVD and I'm really glad I did. I can't wait to see what they do in the last 2 (or is it 3?) seasons.

Update on writer strike:

Folks, we may finally be getting somewhere. The WGA at the conclusion of Wednesday's talks said in a statement, "For the last two days we have had substantive discussions of the issues important to writers, the first time this has occurred in this negotiation." The topics on which progress was made include union jurisdiction over the Internet and reality TV, but the issue of compensation for online streaming still appears to be a major hurdle.

"We remain committed to making a fair and reasonable deal," says the AMPTP in its own statement. "We believe that there is common ground to be found between the two sides that will put all of us in the entertainment industry in a better position to survive and prosper in what is a rapidly changing modern, global marketplace."

Dont you want to know what the island is????

Their was optimism on Wednesday but Thursday brought no new news.

Little disclosure in strike talks

This is kind of how I feel about the series now. Half of the show I'm waiting for it to get back to the storylines that interest me.

I love LOST and can't wait for the new shows.

Am I the only one who ever liked "Jericho"? I loved that show!

Cool premise, but it was just so slow... nothing ever happend, I made it through about the first 8 episodes before it got cancelled and then brought back from the dead.

The wife and I were hooked on Jericho and bummed when it was canceled. It's being brought back soon though.

When is it being brought back? I heard they had 7 or 8 shows in the can and it might be brought back as a mid season replacement but have seen nor heard nothing about it.

I love Jericho. Seems pretty realistic in how this country would act in such situation.

Ya, I remember reading that it was going to show about 8 new episodes and depending on the ratings they would decide whether to continue or not. Also, I think they were going to do the entire seasons story in those 8 episodes.

I would record Jericho with high hopes and then fast forward in 5 minutes. Who needed to hear dialogue?

No meat on the bones. You are right Brianhos.

Back on topic, apparently the LOST Season 4 trailer has been released... though it's not much of a trailer as it is a series of a quick clips designed to leave your heart racing and your mind wondering "what the hell, I didn't see anything!"

Luckily, we have nerds around the world dedicated to piecing apart each quick clip and giving us a screen cap of each quick clip seen in the trailer... among those are a cow, and a pile of exploding fruit. WTF?

Spoilers: Lost Trailer - High Quality

Will Lost continue their style of the opening shot being a closeup of someones eyes?

Damn it. Blocked.

I am sensing the need for a CF lost party. But we might have to do it at someones house, because a bar will be too loud, and everyone needs to pay attention!
