In order for us to get a 5 star recruit, they would have to start out as a 6 star recruit.

Anyone remember Brandon Owens? He was committed to ISU, but ended up signing with Minnesota. He was a 5 star safety on scout.

Austin flynn was the best and this group of players were on 2, 7-5 teams

I don't think there were any kind of rating services but we got the #1 player in the nation one year and it's not like it is ancient history.

Jerry Moses of Waterloo East - although he battled nagging injuries while he was here if my memory serves. I remember playing pickup bball in beyer with him and he was a good basketball player as well.

Apparently grades were an issue with that class. Steward ended up at Fresno JC and then West Texas A&M, Samuel ended up at Mizzou St. and I could not find a single thing about Curtis James.
