If Brock was a first round pick out of Alabama, he'd be the undisputed front runner for MVP. Being the last pick In the draft and from ISU has done him no favors. It's called political sports.

Kinda fun as well in this video, seeing Tyrique Milton BLAZE. Once he had a head of steam, Nobody could catch up.We need a tears emoji
He is the undisputed front runner right now. It’s just a couple talking heads and a few legit analysts who bring up other names. If Brock was a first round pick out of Alabama, he'd be the undisputed front runner for MVP. Decent read but the title is clickbait considering it stems from : He always expected success, but “it’s hard to see anyone being an NFL MVP candidate in Year 2.”Recent article talking with Kolar on Purdy:

Even ex-teammate Charlie Kolar didn’t see Brock Purdy’s rise coming
The Ravens tight end formed a potent duo with the current 49ers QB at Iowa State.www.thebaltimorebanner.com
They want anyone other than Purdy to win. They were campaigning for Prescott and Hurts, then non QB likes Hill and McCaffrey, and now Jackson. The sad thing is that if Purdy plays poorly in next game, Jackson will be the MVP even though he is having a mediocre season. The cognitive dissonance occurring in the media and NFL talking heads is amazing. They almost cannot fathom a 6 ft one inch guy from Iowa State that was Mr. IRRELEVANT being considered. It's driving them nuts and they are waiting for a bad game to say "I told you so!"
Lamar has 17 TD's. It's a total joke. It's not even the best Lamar year for Lamar. He's not having an MVP season at all. Not even close. Dak, Hurts, Allen all got bounced from the MVP race. It's unlikely to go to a RB like CMC. Not likely to a WR like Tyreek. So it's the last desperate attempt to keep it away from Purdy. But win or lose Lamar really doesn't have MVP numbers. They are scrambling trying to find somebody, anybody to keep it away from the much more deserving Purdy.Lamar Jackson for MVP thing is totally ridiculous. If he does, he will be worst QB to win the MVP award in NFL history. He does not have the numbers this year. The narrative of people who want anyone other than Purdy is that no QB is having a monster season, but they will crown Jackson as the MVP if Ravens beat Niners. It is totally unfair that if Purdy plays mediocre and Jackson plays well in next game, Jackson will be the league MVP. Purdy should be the MVP even if he doesn’t play well against Ravens. Why do other QBs are allowed to have couple of bad games but not Purdy? One talking head even said Purdy’s situation with Niners is like a Tesla with autopilot, no matter who is the Niners’ QB, the result will be the same.
Only fools try to play form behind. You play from ahead and dominate and control the game. Dictate to the other team. That's a winning formula.Heard some arguments against BCB now about how he would perform in comeback situations. When you are throwing dimes from the kick it doesn't matter, can't penalize a guy for kicking your ass from the start.
