~ 3 Tornado Warnings!!! ~ current weather!

I sure hope not......I woke up to a flooded basement last night. Hopefully clearing the downspout which was blocked, extending the spouts further into the yard and installing a window well cover will help, but I'm not holding my breath. Oh well, the carpet is already torn out, so there's not much more to destroy down there.

sorry to hear that.

i guess im lucky my lawn slopes away from my house.

Is there such a thing as a safe tornado?

I screwed up. My weather buff roommate is sending me **** from downstairs and it should say "NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR AND STORM SPOTTERS WERE TRACKING A LARGE AND EXTREMELY DANGEROUS TORNADO. THIS TORNADO WAS LOCATED NEAR EAGLE GROVE"

If it's in the middle of a large field, it's considered safer than if it's on main street in Eagle Grove.

If this wasn't so serious and the possibility of something completely tasteless being said, I'd have about a million jokes to insert here. That said, I hope everyone and everything in Eagle Grove is in the same condition it was a few hours ago...

Stupid Fort Dodge. After a long *** day of work, I want to drink a beer and go to bed, not drink a beer and sit in the basement listening to tornado sirens all night. Glad the serious stuff is staying to the north.

When should we be expecting the storms that are leaving Nebraska right now? Is it going to hold of until 6 or 7 at least?

Every part of Iowa north to south that is west of Waterloo is under a severe thunderstorm watch until 6 a.m. tomorrow.

The tornadic circulation looks to pass a few miles north of Fort Dodge. Another area of rotation off to the northeast of Fort Dodge.
