3 ******* points!?!?!

This is more than just a few bad plays, a few bad calls, a few bad assistants, or whatever the excuse of the day is! This is what it looks like when your program is atrocious from the top down. We got our ***** manhandled by a KU team that is going to have their 3rd coach in two months and people are afraid that if we lose this staff we will take a step back? Where are we going to go? The Missouri Valley? CPR is Jim Walden with a few upsets, but hey at least we're not as bad as Kansas right?:jimlad:

Actually - I was looking at the records the other day when people were talking about their JTS records as a student (I was there 89-94).

In the respect - Walden is better than CPR. Beat NU and is the last guy to beat OU. So an argument can be made that it's at least a wash - and what a sad, sad argument that would be.

Sam is definitely not the worst QB in the country or IMO the problem with this team.
Both lines blow, that's the main problem.

If we had a serviceable offense, we'd have a chance at this upset. Just an average offensive output could do it. Sadly, this is just awful.

Walden had as many winning records in Ames as CPR has!

I want to see Joel Lanning just for the hell of it. The game was over before it started but that pick 6 makes it official....

WHAT!?!?! You can't start down Jarvis West from the second he leaves the line and not expect it to be picked off. Shocking!

Well - at the least the offense has now put more points on the scoreboard against someone. Unfortunately - it's us.

If it makes people feel any better: if ISU just had more talent, they'd have more points.

It's that whole not having basic D1 athletes trend rearing it's head again. You know, like most years at ISU.

The team didn't want to be hear from the start of the game, which I can understand. I just wish they would have showed some pride and played hard instead of showing the nation how to lay down.

Of course Sam is not the only problem with the offense. There are problems everywhere.

However, when I ask myself if Sam is a capable enough QB to take us to 6 wins, I just don't see it. He doesn't make enough plays at all, and takes WAY too many losses on plays too.

So yes, there are positions on the offense that are weaker than QB, but I just don't see us having a good enough QB on our roster that could lead us to a bowl game.... unless Lanning or Run DLC becomes that guy. Sam and Rohach aren't good enough IMO.

The receivers are getting no seperation. Now if Bibbs, Montgomery, and Bundrage were playing, we could actually get some seperation and we would have much more than 3 points. Sam has no one to throw to and he is hurt and can't run so we are just screwed. It's not an excuse. It's a reason.

Im beginning to think maybe Mangino isnt the genius everyone thinks he was. Maybe it was his OC at the time.

Or that they just had the ****** north rotation that we failed to take advantage of.
