This aged well. 1 game out of first place and playing first place Loyola Wednesday. Drake and Mo State also tied for first.

When you fill up your car with gas do you take the gas cap off first? I hate it when people do the internet wrong.

Ok I can simply answer the question of the thread. Nothing happened to UNI. There were just a lot of new faces and injuries and unlike another team in the state they have over came that and are playing better as the year goes on

Honestly, UNI still having a chance to win the league says more about how far the Valley has fallen off then it does about UNI being a good basketball team. The Valley is a bad league now and will be a one bid league for the foreseeable future.

Aged just fine. Net ranking is still 163. Might be a 16 seed if they make it in.

Play-in game in Dayton, maybe.

Which I'd be totally cool with, by the way.

But yes, awful year in the Valley, that cannot be denied.

Would be a free tournament win but, realistically, even at 19-15, UNI would be a 14 or 15. 8th best non-con strength of schedule plus history would boost them a line or two above where they probably should be. As bad as the Valley has been this year, there are still 18 worse conferences.

The Valley went from being a multiple bid league to a single auto bid. There's just no sugar coating it, the conference is a shell of it's former self.

You and a bunch of dudes rented a house to watch the NCAA's.

Sounds normal.

?

I don't get it. Is that a normal thing for adult males to do? Go have guy time?

I've been married and not doing that kind of stuff for so long that I honestly don't know.

Yes, planning boys weekends around major sporting events, especially the first couple days of March Madness is a very normal occurrence. I set up 3 TVs in my basement every year and invite a bunch of buddies over. My wife and kids usually take off for the wkd unless they're not on spring break and its a bore's nest. If she's around, that's fine because she's really cool and gets it.

I feel bad for people that can't wrap their brain around something this fun. It gives you something to look forward to as winter drags on.

Been getting together with a buddy of mine for March Madness for years. It's looked a little different the last few years because we both have young kids but it's something I see us doing in some fashion for a very long time.
