Good to have the Sack Daddy back on board. Hunter has performed really well in his absence, and might even be a better overall player, but EG is an emotional leader on the defense. It'll be great to see him in uniform, even if he doesn't play much or at all

Nice to see the Viking D look good today even without two pro-bowlers. Setting the franchise record with 10 sacks was impressive.
Watching the Saints-Rams game tonight looks like the NFC championship match-up, unfortunately.

Weren’t the rams the 2-seed last year that got beat by the falcons? I doubt the top 2 teams make the NFC championship. Usually a wildcard team or 3 or 4 seed gets hot at the end of the season and gets to the championship game.

Vikings D is starting to look like it did last year, which is great news. Bye week comes at a great time as they can get some key guys back/healthy. Great to see Cook back and breaking off a long run today, that's a dimension that is really needed on this offense. Murray is a really solid back, but Cook has top 5-10 RB potential if he can stay healthy. He hit the fastest speed in the NFL this year (22+ MPH) on his 70 yd run today.

Unfortunately it looks like they're going to have to survive Cousins' 2-3 ridiculously stupid plays per game, which they should have expected having watched him play in Washington.

The next four games will make or break the Vikings.

at Chicago
vs Packers
at Patriots
at Seahawks

Yikes.

The Week Eleven matchup at Chicago just got flexed to Sunday night. Should be a good one if Khalil Mack is back and healthy for the Bears by then.

I guess Chicago is kind of up in arms about the schedule change since they'll now play the late game on Sunday and then turn around and play the early game at Detroit the following Thursday on Thanksgiving.

The good news for them is that Detroit is the NFL's version of Kansas

I think they beat the Bears, Packers, and the Seahawks. Hopefully can Diggs can get healthy, he makes Thielen more dangerous.

Seems odd, I didn't feel they needed help at RB but I'm also not a GM

Can't hurt. Gives them two capable backs in case Cook's hamstring issues flare up again. And maybe he can contribute on special teams. Solid pickup for a team with not much maneuverability under the salary cap.

Vikes already have 4 RBs on roster though (more than most). Wonder if it has to do with Thomas also having a hammy issue?

This move may have excited me a couple of years ago, but he had slipped behind K. Johnson, L. Blount, and T. Riddick with the motor city kitties? And is going to be better than what we already have?

Kind of funny to hear the differing opinion on OC DeFilippo. Common thought that is/has been that he'd be in line to be a HC in the near future, especially with the success Philly had after Wentz went down last year. Others wouldn't mind seeing him gone with the lack of creativity at points of this season.

I've been a defender of Cousins this season, as I think better O-Line play and balanced play calling would go a long way in opening up opportunities and reducing predictability for opposing D's. BUT, I will never understand three yard passes on 4th and 11 to Treadwell. He has to be more aware in that situation and at least give the team a chance to convert with a pass to the sticks.

That series of plays drove me nuts.

2nd and 10 - Holding call to put them at 2nd and 20
2nd and 20 - 4 yard pass
3rd and 16 - 5 yard pass
4th and 11 - 3 yard pass.

Of course, with that O-line he didn't have time to do much else.

Bad o-line with no running game and an immobile QB makes things pretty easy for the defense.
