@cyrocksmypants already responded, but this isn't necessarily true.

1981-82 is considered the start of the millenials, as they were the HS graduating class of 2000. It's supposed to include people who grew up in the 80s and 90s, and came of age in the 2000s/early 2010s.

I'm an early 90s baby, so I'm considered a millenial.

There's some disagreement about the cutoff birth years, but mid 90s seems to be the consensus. Kids born in the early 2000s in HS right now aren't millenials; I certainly don't have much in common with them. But it's such an easy term to bash young people with, so here we are.

Pew Reseach came out recently defining the cutoff for millenials at 1996 babies

Don't think they've officially named the "next" generation

It’s based on people that grew up around the millennia, not born around it.

Kinda like how if you call yourself an “80s” kid, there’s a good chance you were born in the mid to late 70s, but most of your memories at a young age start in the 80s.

Born in early 80s and went backpacking with a bunch of mid-20sish folks about a month ago.

After spending that much time in the wilderness with this age group, it was maybe the first time I've actually felt a real concrete generational gap.

Part of that is because I'm just generally behind/uninterested in pop culture, techy stuff, etc. anyway.

Heard at the water cooler this afternoon an important football player got a significant injury in practice. Has anybody heard this rumor? Mods, please delete if inappropriate.

So, was it Peavy's shoulder that you heard about? It doesn't seem that we ever heard back from the early posters who claimed to know something.

Don't feel alone on the injury front. Starting linebacker out down here, plus future running back stud may have career-ending issue. The game is tough.

You didn't read the thread but felt the need to tell us about things we don't care about anyways?

I asked everyone I know and they didn’t have anything. So either nobody is injured or the team is keeping it real tight lipped.

They showed the victory video tonight. Didn’t look like anyone was injury or missing from the starters.
