Where do you get that 'most disagree with the championship game being boring'? Because media folks that spend every season pumping up notre dame (regardless of whether its a good year for them or not) and the SEC love that game?

I have never once said that a ND-Alabama NC game was going to be boring. I specifically said I had no interest in watching it and was making plans for that evening that included doing anything but watching the game.

Wow. That's a really high octane offense with tons of speed to ask a 73 year old guy to try to keep up with.

I'm not sure that with 35 Bowl games, being listed as 23 is "High" on the importance list.

23rd is higher than I'd expect. We are a lower tier BCS team that went 6-6 facing a non-BCS team that we have already played this season. The fact that we aren't lower shows some respect for both teams by ESPN. SBNation's bowl rankings had us in a similar position.

I'm sad because this is a "nothing to gain" game for us. I would have preferred we faced off against a bad Big 10 team so we would have had a BCS opponent and wouldn't be in a gain nothing or lose a lot situation.
