Agreed, the 15-16 team was a poor coaching job. We should have been contending for a Big 12 title, not going 10-8, getting a gift wrapped trip to the Sweet 16 and then getting embarrassd by Virginia.
We had a new coach/system and so it took a little more time to gel.
Not only that but the “apparent” uncertainty of our HC played a big part in us not finding an additional grad transfer post which was needed for us to hit our peak.
Overall that team ended up doing as well as any Fred teams did, which was to finish 3-5 place in the B12 and Sweet 16.
I would give Prohm a B for his first year.
Second year was probably an A-/B+
This year has been up and down. I would probably say we'll finish between a C and a D (relative to experience, talent and how deep the B12 is) depending on how the next 5-6 weeks go.
