Damn, Notre Dame at Miami is that week. Bet they go there.
I disagree. ESPN is foaming out the mouth at that Miami Nortre Dame rivalry to start up again. I'm just afraid it will all be due to name.Miami is a (slight) underdog for their game against Virginia Tech next week per Sagarin. I could still see them going even if Miami loses. But if the Hurricanes lose and the Clones and Cowboys win, I think Ames would have the edge.

If Iowa State wins next week to go to 7-2, they will be the best story in college football going into 11/11. It would also give ESPN a chance to do a feature on the 2011 game with the opponent being Oklahoma State. I am actually pretty confident that if ISU and OSU win and Miami or ND loses, we get GameDay. But if Miami and ND win I think that game gets the edge with both of them in the mix for the CFP.
I'm not afraid of this being a distraction. Our players and coaches have already proved they are good at avoiding them.Honestly, at this point I want nothing to do with Gameday. We're getting enough exposure by winning and don't need the distraction that Gameday would bring.
yeah, I'm going to give you the benefit of the doubt and pretend that was what you meant; that you weren't making a crack about her size. Next time think twice, post once.So steroids is correct. Good luck with the fight.
Why can't we all be thrilled one of our own has chosen to even WAVE the flag. Lots of back-seat cooks.
WELL DONE!

They can do that in their warm seats in sunny Miami though.Nah, Catholics vs Convicts has been done, I think they would come here for the Novelty (TM), which they could talk about coming back from each commercial break. "Did you know Iowa State has never been good? Let's look at some stats of futility", etc. Like today about the games vs ranked opponent record.

He's right. If your a fan of the conference and want a team in the playoffs, ISU winning is not good. That being said, IDGAF.Anybody else hear the guy on Fox (I believe) who said "If you're a fan of the Big 12, Iowa State winning is not good." Like we give a flying fig about how this effects the Big 12. smh

Hopefully Virgina Tech beats Miami next week, ISU beats WV, and OSU wins Bedlam. However, because of ND alone, that Miami/ND game is likely to get ABC primetime.Gameday is going to Stillwater for Bedlam this weekend. That doesn't bode well for them coming to ISU for the OSU game a week later. I bet they already know they will be in Miami on 11/11. Oh well.
