MLB: .

Last night was a microcosm of sorts for the twins. They get down 8 to nothing in the first inning, come back to tie it up by the 7th, and the very next Detroit batter gets a home run. Detroit ends up winning 10 to 8. Fun as hell game to watch but the twins just don't have enough in them

Three errors again today. As Jack Morris said in pre-game, at least play good defense. Right now the Twins are terrible in almost every aspect of the game. And with Mauer BA heading to sub.250 the losing will make the others player wonder what they are getting for $20+ million.

20-47 after get owned by the Yanks who themselves can't even get above .500.

Reminds me of the late early '80s at the old Met. Whar Bombo Rivera?

Man, do we need pitching. Have to believe Plouffe will be traded for some minor league prospect.

Plouffe was just put on the d.l. with a fractured rib,out about a month. Kevin Jepsen was designated for assignment. Also Fox Sports North for the rest of the year won't be broadcasting weekday afternoon games starting today with the game against the A's.

Was that a decision that was just recently made? Admittedly I don't watch nearly as many Twins games this year due to their poor performance, but today being the 4th of July I was looking forward to turning the game on today -- disappointed to find it missing from my TV listings :(

Pretty sure **** bremer said not broadcasting today was a scheduling oddity and not the result of the season being terrible

Too bad Nunez didn't get at least one AB. I guess Yost thought he needed the Orioles' battery together for the ninth.

Hopefully Nolasco as well but I don't think anyone would want him with that contract.

Yep, Nolasco and Mauer would both be gone if they didn't have such bloated contracts. Santana, Plouffe, Kinsler, and possibly Nunez will probably be dealt. I hope they keep Gibson. Suzuki will most likely hang on unless they pickup a catcher in one of the other trades.

Sounds like the Pohlad boys want to clean house and Terry didn't. The trade deadline has now become much more interesting for the Twins club house.
Too bad Terry could not develop any top level pitching in the last 20 years.

Johan santana and liriano were absolute studs. After them it's been nothing.

I was totally on board with the trade Dozier idea over the winter a couple weeks ago to get some actual, MLB SP, but that's impossible now.

He's completely priced himself out of the trade market. How could you trade him for anything less than a #1, plus top prospects? And you'd probably never be able to get that anyway.

I guess it's Bull Dozier for life now!

31 HR in his last 70 games!
