MLB: .

The Twins cannot really be this bad can they? Going to need to duplicate what they did last May to even have a shot at a .500 season. Very disappointing when your favorite baseball team appears to be out of it before summer really starts.

Berrios with his first MLB win tonight. Looked solid, but couldn't make it out of the 6th due to being at 96 pitches already. Still excited about him though, one of the first times all year batting and pitching has clicked simultaneously

I agree, he looked good, and for all but 1.5 innings in his first start he looked very solid. Don't they have another person making his first MLB start tomorrow? Not positive, but I think he has made some appearances, just finally getting a first start.

Meyer sent back to AAA.

Twins pitching awful again tonight. 2.5 hours of gametime and its 14-4 in the 5th inning. Twins used 5 pitchers alreadt. Wonder which bench player is going to pitch.

I'll get my arm warmed up

Organization is starting to spiral down into new depths. Is it any irony that this tailspin only got worse after Gardy was brought back in?

Milone was one of the higher paid guys too. Murphy was the worst twins hitter I ever remember. Who are they calling up?

Sure wish we still had Ramos. This had to bee one of the worst Twins trades in recent years.

I appreciate the trimming of fat to placate the fans, but time has taught us that whoever they bring in to replace Fien, O'Rourke, murphy etc. will be equally inadequate. Mastroianni has already been called up I see, was batting near the Mendoza line in AAA, I rest my case...

Let's see...so far it's Milone cut, Fien cut and Murphy optioned.

Some random catcher from AAA is up, Mastroianni is up and Ervin Santana is back from the DL.

So, not exactly inspiring position player moves, and not sure how any of this helps the bullpen other than those two gas cans won't be around. Perplexing.

The Mastro addition has a lot of people thinking Rosario will be sent down shortly, so maybe there will be another bullpen arm to come.

And now JR Graham has been cut (DFA).

I can't say exactly that they're getting any better with these moves, but I can't ever remember such a huge shake up from the Twins all at once like this. Whether it's talent, or bad apple attitudes or what...

Somebody somewhere must have rattled a cage or two in the Front Office.

Edit: And O'Rouke DFA'd as well. Hmmmm

Most of the guys they're cutting ties with are garbage. Wouldn't be a problem, but unfortunately they have nothing better to replace the garbage with. Wondering what happened to this deeply talented farm system I've heard so much about these last few years. Just development issues or something else?

Their recent trades and high draft picks are not panning out. If we were getting Correa production out of Buxton there would be some hope.

Not only that, but Rosario has disappeared, Sano hasn't been as good, Meyer hasn't lived up to the hype, and the bullpen cupboards are bare. Baffling that we don't have a hot up and coming pitcher in the system besides Berrios who is up, and Meyer who's time is running out

Mastroianna brought up after batting .208 at Rochester. Started RF last night and 0-4 w/ 2 K's. WTF?

I don't understand that move because Darin has been up with you guys for a significant amount of the last few years and he's bad.

I agree with the Star Tribune writer that says it's time to trade Plouffe and Arcia and bring up Buxton and Kepler. Season is over so play the kids.
He also wanted see Murphy back in the bigs, but I would throw him in with the trades for whatever we can get.

Two game winning streak! Like what I saw from Duffey today. Hope it carries on to future games
