.

Kansas. It's really close though. We each won a part of the big 12 but they went further in the post season, so Kansas. Doesn't mean our year was awful though, just not as good.

According to Rivals, Kansas has 5 5 stars on their roster and 3 4 stars.

Kentucky is the only team in the entire nation with more 5 stars.

So, I think it's fair to say that Bill Self does less with more.

And for that reason, I say Iowa State had a better season. 0 5 stars, 2nd place in Big 12.

While this may be true, it does not mean that we had a better season. It doesn't matter if we have all 3 stars for 5 stars. All that matters are results. The rest doesn't matter.

Points in favor of Kansas:
Round of 32 vs Round of 64

Push
Regular season title vs conference tourney title
Regular season is stronger, but I call this a push because if you combine the records of the regular season with the tourney ISU is 13-6 and KU is 12-6. If KU had a 2-game cushion in conference play I would give it to them.

Points in favor of ISU:
Head to head: ISU 2 - KU 1
Kansas is facing a potential recruiting scandal and could vacate some wins
ISU picked to finish 5th and Kansas picked to finish 1st

Final verdict:
ISU barely, but if anything negative comes of the Cliff Alexander situation it becomes a landslide.

Let's take a look at what's behind door #3. The correct answer is Oklahoma:
Tied for 2nd in regular season, tourney runner-up, Sweet 16

KU is one of the youngest teams out there. Great young talent plus Bill Self generally equals success.

KU had the better season since conference championships are HUGE. We got really lucky during our run at the end as well.

But now both fans of both teams have several extra weeks on their hands to discuss who's the best loser program.

Frankly when you have a final four team that lays an egg in the round of 64 I don't think that anyone is going to think many good things right now. Give it a few months for everyone in Cyclone nation to let that sink in and accept it... I certainly haven't yet. I freaking hate it for everyone especially the players. Have to wonder how they are handling watching other teams play....

They had a better year, but losing to WSU has to suck big for them. This would be like us losing to UNI in the tourney and then having to hear from their fans for a long while about it. In that sense, they may have more suffering to endure.

Is this a serious question? I've seen 3 pages on here so I guess people are taking it seriously.

This season H2H- 2-1 in favor of us.

So Rock Choke Jay Hawk Nation thinks beating some defenseless 15 seed trumps what we did this year because we didn't get past the first round? I really can't take this question seriously.

I think rather even: we both **** the bed.

We **** the bed earlier in the tournament, but i think its worth noting how KU limped into the big 12 tournament. Losing @WVU and @KSU, probably should have lost to Texas and especially WVU at home. And they really didnt look all that great in any of their big 12 tournament games.

Cyclones. 2-1 record versus KU and conference tourney champ.

UAB loss was disappointing, but at least our season didn't end by being dismantled on national television by an in-state MVC team we've been dodging for decades.

Instead our season ended to the youngest team in the tourney who only made it into the dance because they pulled a golden goose out of their butts to win a bad conference tourney. And it was on TV.

It was our fans that were asking the question. Not the jayhawk nation.
