.

Clearly KU from a national perspective, but at the same time, ISU wasn't expected to have the year they did.

So I'm going to say ISU, because we exceeded our expectations. Kansas met there's, kind of. And I'm not going to let one loss define our season.

I find the conference tournament much less meaningful than the regular season. You can't compare an 18-game double round robin to a 3-game 1-and-done. The latter is far less statistically significant. Just being honest...

We both had craptastic finishes to our year for essentially the same reason. We're both soft. Hit our 3's and offense clicks and everyone loves us. Don't, and we won't win a dogfight.

That's essentially it for both KU and ISU.

Both teams finished in disappointing fashion but I'd say KU.

Strong non-con, stronger regular season + 1 NCAA tourney win > Big12 Tourney Championship.

Our guys had a great season, but I'd say they just edged us out. Just the way it is.

I agree KU but is it really that dumb of a question? Give the guy a break

#9
ISU 2-1 vs KU
Big 12 Tournament Champions
Eliminated in the Round of 64

#8
KU Regular Season Champions
Eliminated in the Round of 32

Seems like a fair question to me

I don't know why some of the above posts think we are so far apart. I'd give it to KU just because I believe the conference championship is the defining argument here but we weren't far behind.

Regular season champs and round of 32 or tournament champs and round of 64? Which season was more successful?

This was mentioned in a different thread, but I would most likely trade our tournament title for Sweet 16 or Elite 8 finish. I would not trade that title for round of 32 that's for damn sure. Both teams ended horribly, but at least we have a trophy.

Ku's regular season championship trophy is bigger, metaphorically speaking.
