Happy for David.

He's on my Mt. Rushmore of most important Cyclone football players of the modern era. Scratched and clawed here to make Iowa State better and deserves every bit of success that comes his way.

That said, I'm a Bears fan by birth and I'm not sure I can handle it if the Lions go back there before they do. So I'll be rooting for David and 100% in the Niners' corner next weekend.

I could see having issues with GB and Minny as a Bears fan but not the formerly hapless lions.

I became a Lions first fan this year. Grew up a Bears fan but I took my girlfriend to a Lions game last year. Fell in love with the city, fans, and team. Chicago was so hapless and looked like they didn’t care the first few games so I made it official around week four. I would NEVER become a Vikings or Packers fan but I had zero animosity towards the Lions.
