I am not sure when the game took place, but here is why there is a rule about fumbling into the end zone. It is a playoff game, the Raiders have the ball, I forget who they are playing. I think the TE Casper catches the pass and is being tackled short of the end zone. So he “fumbles” the ball towards the end zone. He is around the 4-5 yard line. The Raiders recover the “fumble” and win a playoff game. I think John Madden was Coaching. So the guy who fumbles into the end zone must recover it, I think.
