...that guy is a large waste of human space.Another year of trotting out Udoh and expecting different results.
They haven't found a guy capable of replacing Dalvin Cook. Without any running game, it's just going to make life that much tougher on Cousins.Limit the turnovers and this team is 2-0. Honestly think overall they’re better than last year but just keep giving the ball away. Run defense was awful tonight but they were also on the field for damn near 40 minutes and prevented Hurts from going off
The Vikings will get a top pick overall in the draft, and Kwesi will trade it to the Chiefs for a 5th and 7th round picks and claim it a successful draft.Tank for coach prime’s kid
I like Mattison, but Dalvin Cook he is not. They haven't found a guy capable of replacing Dalvin Cook. Without any running game, it's just going to make life that much tougher on Cousins.
But the defense is definitely better than last year's defense...but they had nowhere to go but up from there anyway.
Mattison is fine. He’s not Cook, but few are. And spending any serious cap space or draft capital on a RB is a waste as long as you have oft injured Darrisaw and the worst interior three in the league on your OL.They haven't found a guy capable of replacing Dalvin Cook. I agree with this. Mattison has always been the dollar store version of Cook, and that is who they went with this year. The defense somehow looks like it has taken a step back. The OL...woof.They haven't found a guy capable of replacing Dalvin Cook. Without any running game, it's just going to make life that much tougher on Cousins.

I dunno. Less than 2 weeks ago, I would have told you the Vikings were my odds on pick to win the North. I'm still thinking that is possible, despite what we've seen so far.Crazy to see all the stories now, including ESPN, about the Jets trying to trade for Cousins. I'm a Kirk fan and 100% want the Vikings to bring him back, but it appears they really have no interest in resigning him. IF that is truly the case, and we lose to the Chargers on Sunday - do you seriously consider if the Jets make an offer? Especially if the Jets throw in their 1st round pick this year (which they now have because Rodgers will not play 70% of the snaps). Would give you 2 1st rounders that you could try to package to get Caleb Williams.
Just curious what others would think of that?
Sounds interesting, though still likely improbable. The problem I forsee if they trade Cousins, is how does JJ react? Trading Cousins would force the front office to admit this is a reset and they are loath the do that.Crazy to see all the stories now, including ESPN, about the Jets trying to trade for Cousins. If they get rid of Kirk and don’t get a big time QB from the draft, would they be able to re-sign Jefferson? If I’m JJ, I would shop around in FA if the Vikings don’t have a viable QBCrazy to see all the stories now, including ESPN, about the Jets trying to trade for Cousins. I am in the go get the O and D lines figured out and then talk to me about skill positionsIf they get rid of Kirk and don’t get a big time QB from the draft, would they be able to re-sign Jefferson? If I’m JJ, I would shop around in FA if the Vikings don’t have a viable QB
So let’s say Mahomes was the Vikings QB. Are you suggesting to trade arguably the best player at that position in the entire league (mahomes, in this case) to simply try to improve OL/DL?I am in the go get the O and D lines figured out and then talk to me about skill positions
I call this the Brad Banks theory.
Something tells me you could put Mahomes at Vikings QB and we would still be 9-7.
If the o-line is going to continue to be like this then we need someone that can scramble and run.
