Listen, don't get me wrong. I'm really glad that the game is a 3:30 game next week, so I might have a chance to see it here in the Chicago area, but why does Dallas constantly get that time slot? Are there really that many Cowboy fans in the country that they seem to always get the Prime late game on Sunday afternoon?

I was disgusted in myself yesterday rooting for the Packers, but I truly hate the Cowboys. There isn't one team in the NFL that the Cowboys could play that would make me root for the Cowboys. I know they are good this year, but a lot of that hate stems from them always having prime spots for their games, even when they suck.

As a life long Vikings fan I can never root for Dallas. Even if they're playing Green Bay or Chicago.
If Al Qaeda got together to form a football team I would root for them over Dallas

I’m with you and I’m a packers fan. Rooting for the cowboys is like going to a strip club and hoping to see your wife/girlfriend working sniffer row.

My wife and in-laws are all Cowboys fans. Going to be a very long Thanksgiving if we lose to them Sunday

I think they call it "cross-flexing". The NFC has most of the big TV markets, which gives FOX a ratings advantage. So the league throws a few of the big-market games to CBS to help them out.

Also, I think in 2023 the which-teams-will-be-on-which-network is going to be changing significantly, you will see more of this.

We would still need them to lose another one and win out ourselves. Also, after spending most of the day running around looking for Hi Temp cheese for a smoked meatloaf recipe before getting the bright idea to just ask a guy behind the Fareway meat counter if they carried it, I still think I prefer GB winning yesterday. But I do see the counter argument.

Pretty difficult remaining schedule. lots of tough teams coming up but luckily we get them at home. Still need to go on the road to everyone at the division too. But 1st seed is in play

True but that is still much easier than being essentially 2 games back. Vikes can win close games and Eagles' defense seemed porous at times last night. They still have to go to NYG and Dallas. Vikes obviously still have tough games too but it's not impossible.

JJ is ridiculous. Combining great route running, incredible ball skills, willingness to make tough catches over the middle AND block! Now I love Diggs as a player because he’s pretty much like that, but JJ is another level athletically.

Plus, what always stands out to me about JJ, despite looking like a slender frame he is tough as hell running with the football after the catch. No fear of contact, and usually wins the battle on contact for the extra yard or 2

Minn and Philly have a lot of the same opponents in the last 8 and Philly looks to have slightly harder road games. 538 basically has it as even odds for Philly and Minn to get the #1 seed with the Cowboys being a dark horse.

We are lucky to get pretty much every remaining difficult non-division game at home. If we can get through the Cowboys, Pats, Jets, and Giants (all at home) with a 3-1 record, I like our chances. Eagles still have the Giants twice and the Cowboys on the road. Packers and Bears could very well just be playing for next year when we get to them in January. To me, 14-3 looks likely for both Vikes and Eagles, but wouldnt be surprised if either goes 15-2 or 13-4
