MLB: ***2024 Minnesota Twins***

I don't really want to get into stats fight here, and I don't really care much either way about the decision, but...

Joe Ryan gives up homers left and right, he wasn't going to keep that lineup in the yard again anyway.

Plus, that decision isn't why they lost.

They lost because for the 5th straight Target Field playoff game they managed one, solitary run. Pitching strategy is kinda moot.

Twins pitchers holding their own. Need the bats to come alive here in the 8th. Need a walk, and the two run dinger.

Good bounce back season for the Twins. But they need to learn the lesson. Big slugging low contact approaches don’t work very well in the playoffs.

Lots to look forward to next year to see what Lewis and Julien can do building off this year.

The team has a bright future and now that know what they need to do to win in the playoffs. Astros experience was too much to overcome and they just owned the Twins hitters all series really.

I was really hoping they could get one at home. At least this game was more exciting than yesterday. Team needs some more hitting.

I’ll take the blame for this game. After the Lewis home run in the first, I turned to someone next to me and I said “all three batters have hit the ball hard. This is a good sign”
……………………..
One hit the rest of the game. Sigh

Putting Buxton in the 9th to bat was plain stupid. He hasn't seen a major league pitch in 3 months. Either start him in the 1st inning, or sit him. Pinch hitting is tough.... with the game on the line and zero at bats for half the season, he was not the right batter.

Hoping for a miracle. It's not like he hit for **** this season anyway.
