MLB: ***2024 Minnesota Twins***

I'm still puking from yesterday's blowup.

I may place a bet on Cleveland to win the division..

This team is fools gold. They want you to think they are good, and they can be, but they can't sustain it.

Yeah, it is much of the same story as in recent years, just fewer home runs and wins. All season long, right when I think I can get excited and have hope, they promptly lose 2 in a row or 2 out of 3, and especially to teams that they should be beating at least 75% of the time, like Cleveland, Detroit, Kansas City etc. I think this has been the most maddening season I've witnessed since the Molitor era.

Guardians pick up 3 of the Angel's waivers. We gave them a lifeline by losing 2 of 3, now they are preparing to make a run. If they come back and win the division, we need to clean house with FO and Rocco
Renfroe and Moore were the two guys I was hoping would fall to the Twins. Maybe Cleveland did them a favor with Giolito continuing to blow up.

Inflated Colorado Rockies numbers. He's been Gallo-like since he arrived in California.
Seriously, how are these kinds of guys getting a lot of MLB at bats?

From May through August Gallo has 24 RBI and 122 Ks.

It’s a joke if Gallo is on the postseason roster if they make it.
If everyone is healthy, I don't think he will be. Even if they drop 1 pitcher and only have 12, they'd have to clear 2 more spots if Buxton, Kiriloff and Castro are healthy. The only clear guy to drop is Jordan Luplow. Maybe the keep Gallo on instead of Farmer, but that'd be the only way.

No freakin way to that last sentence

I don't think it's completely unreasonable to at least start entertaining the idea that Buxton has played his last game in the majors.

It’s not unreasonable. But I think it’s unlikely. I think it’s more than likely he’s done in CF forever though.
