MLB: ***2024 Minnesota Twins***

Wonder if Winder could be a RP arm come playoff time too.

Okay, I feel much better after looking at last year's playoffs.

There were 18 games in the LCS and WS. So 36 starts.

1 starter went 8 innings.
3 guys went 6
3 others went more than 5.
I bet the average start was 4 innings.

Chris Archer suddenly looks like a fantastic 4th starter in the playoffs

Helps that the pen has been reinforced now too. Or have him ready if Ryan, Gray, or Mahle run into problems and have Archer piggy back them

Wow. Surprised to see this. He had a pretty solid 3 year run before this year. Yes he has been awful this year, but Pagan has been way worse IMO.

I'm curious about that too. What made Duffey more expendable than Pagan, and did front pride have something to do with it. They'd have to admit the trade for Rogers was garbage.

Would have loved to have given Berrios the loss, but I'll take it. One new reliever bails out the other.

Nice game by Gordon as his season continues to trend up. Hope Arraez gets out of his funk soon.

Pagan has another year of control.

Ah, didn't realize that. Though at this point, it doesn't seem like it matters. I don't see him quickly becoming useful next year.

Relievers can be weird. He'd probably have as good a chance to bounce back as any other low cost reliever they find this offseason

He’s not going to bounce back. He’s had this trend going literally for years. He’s awful and there’s no reason whatsoever to keep him on the roster. I don’t care about his contract.

Agree. The only use for an additional Pa-gone contract year is bait for someone stupid enough to trade for him this off-season.

Cleveland is DFA'ing Reyes. Any chance the Twins would take a shot at him if he is released? Worst case, he could provide some short term OF relief.
