2024 Football Schedule

We played K-State there in 2009 and 2010 and just hit 40k so I would temper your expectations.
Our numbers will be bigger, we are in a different place than we were 15 years ago. But the game is against KU and I can't imagine they travel for beans, even if it's in their back yard.

Man, all this excitement here about finally having a softer schedule and a chance to put up a great win total, and all I can picture is the college football gods getting ready to administer the biggest groin kick we have ever received.
It’s gonna be tougher to beat 2021 as “worst groin kick of all time”. Still pretty pissed about that year

Not liking 2 bye weeks. Any chance we could schedule a non conference opponent for one of those?
It's a function of the calendar. You don't get to play 13 games just because there is an extra weekend between Labor Day and Thanksgiving the next two years.

Guess I was just speaking for myself (non-donor section B), not sure if the donation-required seats changed at $650/per.

Is anyone else really disappointed in the price increase? It would have been one thing if they had sent something out about a price increase but just dropping it on us.

That’s a 20% price increase after they priced us out of parking last year. I get it all costs money but it’s getting to be too much. I go with my sister and she just is finally starting her first job. I’ve been working longer but still have always stretched to afford the football tickets. Was finally getting to a place where it was finally comfortable to pay for the tickets. We almost cancelled last year because of the time and losing parking. We ended up getting them as we could sell the Iowa tickets and recoup some. Just don’t see that as feasible this year.

Media payouts keep going up and tickets/parking/concessions keep going up. Oh and we have to pay the players too. Sweet deal.

Yeah, not thrilled. I get it, there's an extra game, but like you said - no Iowa game this year to recoup anything. Can't imagine the secondary market for this slate of games will be much of anything. It's damn near $100/seat/game for the donor sections (not counting any donation). 2 of those games are North Dakota & Arkansas State, so the face value for conference games is over $100 - that seems a bit high. Don't see you being able to resell any for that (maybe between the 40's).

Arizona, Arizona State, BYU, and Colorado have no videos.

Baylor is fun:

Cincy is like Texas Tech with lip reading; ok:

Houston - thumbs down:

Kansas is ok:

K-State has a take on Family Feud which makes you realize how much that show relies on Steve Harvey being hilarious:

ISU's has some good ones (Tech was funny): https://twitter.com/CycloneFB/status/1752361032067211484

TCU's is about emojis which I liked: https://twitter.com/TCUFootball/status/1752365471658287423

Texas Tech is too long: https://twitter.com/TexasTechFB/status/1752391803360174511

UCF is clearly the best one. That was epic.

Utah's is ok: https://twitter.com/Utah_Football/status/1752363618665144574

West Virginia is meh: https://twitter.com/WVUfootball/status/1752385471194501623

Cincinnati's is hilarious.

"At Texas Tech."
"Ice cream cake"?

Maybe an unpopular opinion, but that's a tough home slate for me to get excited for.
If you think 2024 is bad, look at 2025 home opponents: Arizona, ASU, Kansas, BYU. At least we get Iowa in Ames then, but woof.

2027 is pretty rough, too, outside of Colorado's return: TCU, Houston, UCF.

The things I read about it being a really easy schedule are overblown. I put in the Team Rankings rating from the end of the season for each of the teams on our schedule and got an average rating of 2.375 (I put in a -15 for North Dakota which is a very low level FBS team). As a comparison Iowa's schedule from last season had an average rating of 0.9917.

Very easy schedule. 9 wins at minimum.

I think the reason I'm thinking 60k, is that we have a much better team than those Cyclone teams were, if all things go well, we could already be bowl eligible + Kansas should be good again.....if Kansas fans themselves can't put 35k in Arrowhead, where most of their alumni live, then that's on them.
