I received the notification that season ticket renewals are due. My wife and I retired and moved back to Ames in the summer of 2021 and have purchased season tickets to FB, MBB, and WBB the last two years. The FB season tickets next year remain $599 even though the number of games has dropped to 6 from 7. Is this usual? It seems odd since Iowa and Nebraska have recently lowered their season ticket prices and are below ours. They both also have 7 home games. I’ll buy the tickets, but I wondered what others thought about this and whether our pricing is rational.

It’s been a few years since season ticket price changed based on number of games. Don’t like it, but that’s the way it is.

Tickets went up last year I thought, I know donation levels did.

Iowa raises their tickets when they play us, so since it’s at JTS this year, they had to lower them to entice their fans to buy.

It’s the classic, season tickets prices did not go up, even though there is 1 less game. Next year they will raise ticket prices but point out per game cost stayed the same.

I think I'm far enough down the tkt list is why my email hasn't came yet.

I don't think our season ticket pricing has ever had anything to do with whether we have 6 or 7 home games. Season ticket pricing has much more to do with overall demand. If we are good for a few years and sell out most games, expect season ticket prices to go up.

I see parking is TBD. I wonder how much construction will take up vs the final footprint of Cytown.

They’ve been doing it this way for years. Next year, there will likely be a small increase.

Could season ticket prices be somewhat of a tough sell with next years home slate? I’m sure season ticket numbers will still be really good though.

You called it!
My reserved seats stayed the same cost. We were part of the displaced group when students were moved and were given a three year price lock, which was honored (this will be year three). The spike in year four will be rough though - $275 jumps to $650 in our section.

Parent passes (Adult hillside) thru JCC went up $50 (25%) as did JCC membership by $15 (22%)
