Either way, it isn't a good look for Zach at all.
If he told him to go with 3 wood- that was a terrible decision.
If he told him to hit Driver and Spieth did the exact opposite- that's almost a worse look for Zach if Spieth basically said F that I'm hitting 3 wood.
It’s an interesting thing because his own game is so different from what’s required today to win at the top levels.
Patty Ice! Those last three holes were absolutely clutch from Patrick Cantlay. Still a big hill to climb, but would have been impossible without that.

Thomas/Spieth losing to Rose/MacIntyre was unforgivable this afternoon. MacIntyre is possibly the worst of all the players in this entire Ryder Cup... and Rose's best days are long behind him.
I really wish they would have split that team up this afternoon. JT and Scheffler or Brooks or maybe Ricky. Jordan just shrinks around JTs ego now that he isn’t world top 5 quality anymore.
He’s got a pretty big melon. Rory has gone hatless in this event multiple times for similar reasons.
I think it was tongue in cheek, as they were talking about it earlier, and I think it has to do with compensation. Not the route I would go with something like this, but I respect him for taking a stand on his beliefs about it.
