Rahm, Morikawa, & Spaun tied for the lead at -9 after 1st Round.

Morikawa at -16 after 2nd Round with now a 2 shot lead over Scheffler & Spaun.

Rahm shoots a 10 under to come from way back to beat Morikawa in Hawaii. Morikawa shot a -1 under for the day which is like shooting over Par on that course.

Rahm had a 130 total for Saturday and Sunday.

That is golfing your ball.

Si Woo Kim shoots a Final Round 64 to beat Hayden Buckley by 1 shot to win the Sony Hawaii Open.

Rahm making another run towards the top of the leaderboard again today. It's weird having the 3rd Round on a Friday but I get why they do it as they don't want to go up against the NFL Championship games on Sunday.

It's a good thing they did that, looks like there are going to all kinds of big names in the mix tomorrow.

Talking directly to a player on one of the more difficult holes, like the nightmare that 13 is, is pretty cool.
Pretty cool for CBS to be able to interview a player while playing a hole, but Homa might turn this hole into a train wreck. You have to wonder if interviewing a guy while playing distracts from his focus. Instead of having a guy on the leader board interviewed, it might have been better to pick a name golfer farther back.

Yeah, I was surprised they talked to him for almost the entire hole. I could see a lot of guys not agreeing to do that.

Will be curious if they do it again tomorrow. Following a guy near the top who has some skin in the game is pretty cool.

It could also be neat if they picked a big name guy like Justin Rose, Justin Thomas or Cameron Champ who is out of the chase and interview over a 3 hole stretch. Would provide some good insight on conversations with caddy and golfers thought process.

I'm for anything that shows some more of these guys personality. Thomas would be a great guy to do it.

Course is already eating people up today. Rahm chipped 3 times on the same hole so now he needs a hail mary to keep his streak going.

Max Homa shoots a 6 under Final Round to win at Torrey Pines by 2 shots over Keegan Bradley. Morikawa finishes 3rd.
