Seems like they lost some solid dudes (Philippi, Mathews, Nino, etc) but bring back Pitzer who is probably a top 8 heavy right away.
You are correct. For some reason I was thinking he was done.

I had this same exact thought but I told myself it keeps me from having to drive anywhere in the winter at least and I can watch wrestling from the comfort of my couch haha
Bought season tickets for the first time yesterday and I am pumped. I’m guessing I’ll have lots of company with it being Carr’s senior year and high expectations.

I’ve always watched on tv when possible. Now I have a kid in Ames, so I can go to the meet and spend time with the kid too.

Not sure where this belongs among threads, but Intermat put out their first 2023-24 rankings yesterday. Cyclones are conservatively ranked at 11 tournament and 10 dual team. Carr, Feldkamp & Bastida projected to AA but the bulk of our guys are ranked in the teens or 20s and will need to prove themselves against competition to move up. Like I say, Nothing is Given. We're a young team with a good mix of veteran leadership. Stay healthy and I think we'll do much better.
Ya I’m confident 149 and 157 will outperform that number
I see FLO doesn’t have Chittum ranked (has Kraisser at 12 though).
If Chittum was still at Iowa they’d have him in the top 8 in both places.
Flo never ranks true freshman that don’t have any collegiate matches. Been their policy forever.
