I guess that’s what I’m getting at. Has their way of running their football program finally caught up to them where no big name coach is going to want to go their, unless their an alumni or something.
Wait, I’m late to the party. Why did A&M revolt against Stoops? Guy is a great coach that built a winning SEC program at a basketball school. Imagine what he could potentially do with A&M resources.

ATM never really being that good is why they won't go to a next level that they think they deserve.
This one surprises. I really thought he would get another year to transition to the Big 12. Not an easy thing to do.

Houston will be interesting, they threw big money at Dana for an aac program. It wasn't a great hire but it was a g5 swing for the fences. They'll try to make a splash.

I know he had a tough time getting his 1st HC job because he's known to have an abrasive personality.
Not sure he would take it (probably would) and not a "splash" but the UTSA Coach would be a good hire for them I think.
Just wanted that Tillman Ferttita money and now he will make a ton of money to do nothing if he wants.

I saw a report yesterday that A&M's hiring of new coach has been complicated by the Jimbo buyout. The boosters who foot that payout have different opinions about next coach. Getting consensus has been tough.
Not only are they not that good. They’re not even good at all.
I’ve looked this up before, but their results considering their resources is pathetic (way worse than Texas). No conference championships since 1998, never won an NCAA title, below .500 bowl record overall, and fewer all sports NCAA championships than ISU. That school is, by far, the most overrated in the nation
I think he's a good Kentucky fit, but aTm has an ego. A massive one.
