Actually, I think Hunter will be so improved, and we’ll get positive (although limited) contributions from the 4 newcomers that we’d be a top half of the Big 12 finisher without adding any pieces.
I think TJ has his sights higher than that so will work the portal even if IB comes back.
Kendal Coleman highlight tapes dropped. Has post moves and can shoot from the midrange it appears. So yeah, nothing has changed there. Still my number 1 want
I love our HS recruits. All look studly. Nice that this year staff can be more choosey with a track record to back up the talk. Hoping to see us improve on current guys. Sorry, I love them all but heart is not a substitute for talent.
Why do I feel like on every transfer's list where we show up, so will Texas Tech?

I like how Brown is crafty and quick. He's supposed to have a nose for the ball and a good rebounder. Didn't know he was much of a shooter. Highlight reel here I know, but if he can shoot the 3 ball, that would be a bonus.
I think IB wants to go pro. I doubt he gets a draftable grade.

I think there is a greater chance of losing Jaz to European Pro ball than most think. We need to replace him, even with King
We either a defense and rebounding center like Flo Thamba or Jonathan Tchamwa Tchatchoua. Or we double down on small ball and get a 5 who can pull a center out to the three point line becuase they are a good threat from deep. No more centers who don't fit either of those buckets
I'd say the percentage of D1 players that want to go pro is easily over 97%
Being that Brewer is a grad transfer, would that mean we wouldn't have to burn a scholly to get him (provided he wanted to come here)? If true that seems like a bonus. We could go after another additional player.

Give me an ISU player comp for these guys. Brewer's highlights are Dedric Willoughby-esque. But he doesn't shoot as well, only 35% from 3. I like the Gainey/Kelvin Cato comp, he is very active in the post on both ends and gets extremely high percentage shots in the highlights. Brown reminds me of Adam Haluska.

I'm good friends with two parents of kids closely involved with the UNI program. One of them says there's nwih AJ would transfer to ISU, and one says there's an excellent chance it happens.
Personally, I can't imagine why he wouldn't be ready to start making some money, but he and his dad have missed a lot of time together the last year so who knows?
If IB comes back and with Tyrese emerging into an absolute star really surprised AJ Green wouldnt want to come make a run in his final year with his Dad. That would be one of if not the best backcourt in the country.
