Nebraska is already playing games with their new media rights deal with Playfly Sports. They owe Frost an extra $7.5 mil for firing him before October 1. The deal with Playfly includes a $7.5 mil "signing bonus".

Just flipping thru XM caught the very tail end of a show that mentioned Colorado is eyeing Gary Patterson as a candidate.
I’d be a little leery of getting someone old. It seems like the older coaches don’t have the patience for a rebuild.

It's not a compliment but Rhule looks like a great fit for Nebraska.

I've been working on a couple projects in Omaha / Lincoln lately so there are always Cornhusker fans working on them. So I'll bring up the HC job and mention Matt Rhule, who I think would be an excellent hire and Urban Meyer (in a serious way to f^ck with these guys). It's remarkable how often character enters into the conversation...

There is no way Nebraska wants Fleck, there aren't enough lakes in Nebraska to row boats in.
To betray Minnesota like that would be low.
If the pickins are slim Fleck is a solid pickup imo.
This helps Iowa St, because they can now pick off recruits that may have been Minnesota bound.
