He was so lucky he did not get boxed in trying to come up through the pack like he did. But definitely the strongest horse at the end. Secretariat type come from way back to win.
I watched live but that view makes it look just absolutely ridiculous. That is just an insane other gear
Never saw where Mo Donegal finished. Did he even get past Altoona?
The announcer didn't have a clue about Rich Strike until the second he hit the finish line. Weird.
It was "Epicenter and Zandon" down the stretch - as if Rich Strike didn't exist. Talked about "Simplification on the outside is next" even after Rich Strike had passed him.

well he was way in the back and came out of nowhere
And last gate on the outside. He had to run farther than any other horse in that race.
No kidding. I've watched the overhead version several times and him getting to the front happens so fast you can barely see it even though you know it happened.
