2022 Football post mortem/looking forward

This is an alarming observation from a credible source.
Need to clean house with offense coaching staff and hire a special teams coach. We lost in the margins all year because of or offense and ST woes. Will need to fill some needs and holes in the portal and have an open QB competition. I love what Campbell has done but changes have to be made else this thing will keep trending the wrong way. Absolutely embarrassing how this may have been the best defense in school history that was wasted by an incompetent offense and special teams.
I’ll get back to this after basketball season.
I’m just glad it’s over. I didn’t expect us to be great this year, but I certainly never saw this **** show coming. Too bad we wasted what is arguably the best defense to ever hit the field for ISU. I’ll worry about next year after basketball is over.

Agreed. I love Dekkers arm talent and have defended him all year, hell he had two would-be likely game winners dropped this year.
But that's concerning.
I predict we'll be circling right back to 'didn't do a hiring search' by about early February.
Or 'where's the team from late November!?' like things always go well or seasons/teams don't evolve.
TJ may lose some. That's sports.
I think he is an exceptional coach and ISU is lucky to have him.
Last year was the most unexpected level of success in ISU basketball history besides maybe, MAYBE, 2000.
Thank god this nightmare is over! I don’t even want think about next year. We are paying way too much for what this entire staff is producing. I am beginning to get the same feeling that I had in the last two years of the Prohm era. We need a win by TJ’s guys to wash the stench of the TCU lost off of us.
Something is clearly wrong with the program.
Special teams and offense are not even D2 level coaching competence.
Not the main takeaway here, but Hanika needs to be more involved. He made some really impressive plays this year pretty much any time he was called on.
Now the whole Dekkers seeming to mentally fight between his reflexes and coaching makes sense, doesn't it?
Also, that is not just alarming, it is disturbing. If you can't trust a 3rd year player to audible, wow!
