10 FBS conference championship games are on tap this coming weekend. For the CFP, its win-and-in for Georgia, Michigan, and TCU. Can they win #13? If so, who would slide in as the 4th team?

There are two former Big 12 coaches in the CCGs: Mack Brown with UNC, and Lincoln Riley at USC. Both are favored, but only USC has a realistic shot at the CFP.

Which teams do you pick to win for each conference?

Note on the Poll: The home team is the first one mentioned (on the left. prior to "vs"). Most of these are neutral site, so home teams are picked by each conference. Pretty sure I got them correct. :cool:
 
I'll pick USC to step up and get that 4th slot in the CFP, although Utah will be a tough opponent. And that will make a great story line with Heisman hopeful, and Big 12 import, Caleb Williams at QB. And how many births did OU get with Lincoln Riley at the helm?
 
Probably the weakest/least interesting slate of CCGs in recent memory. The only really damning result IMO would be if USC loses. Suppose TCU losing by 30 would probably cost them as well.

I think 3? Maybe 2.

And got blown out all 2/3 times.

EDIT: it was 4 times.
2016: No. 1 Clemson 37 No. 4 Oklahoma 17
2018: No. 3 Georgia 54, No. 2 Oklahoma 48 (2OT)
2019: No. 1 Alabama 45, No. 4 Oklahoma 34
2020: No. 1 LSU 63, No. 4 Oklahoma 28

USC vs Utah is the only Friday game, so will set the tone for Saturday's lineup. Utah's 3 losses were to Florida St, UCLA, and Oregon - all on the road. They also beat USC earlier this season, so could very well do it again. They will definitely be ready.

TCU shouldn't drop out with a close loss, but I am confident that the committee would find a way to screw them again if they get the chance.

Absolutely. I'm sure the committee will set themselves up should there be a chance to get both tOSU and Alabama back in to set up the all Big 10/SEC field they've always dreamed about. Alabama might be a stretch, but if USC and TCU both get blown out this weekend, I wouldn't put it past them.
