vs. Howard - 2/20, 11 a.m.

NMSU, UTA, and Northern Colorado would probably be comparable. SE LA and Nebraska would have been better competition.

NMSU got run-ruled by Nebraska, who lost to Iowa State last weekend.
UT-Arlington split with NMSU and lost to Nebraska. UTA is 3-6.
SE Louisiana beat Nebraska 2-0.
Northern Colorado is 1-8.

Quinnipiac was 8-28 last year. They lost to Howard yesterday (season opener).
Howard finished a little over .500 last year, and over .500 in the MEAC.

10-2 (5) over Coppin State

8-1 on the season. Tournament in Palm Springs next week. Competition steps up, with UCLA and Washington in the event.

Dropped a tough one to #6 UCLA, 3-0.

0-0 into the 6th, and one shaky inning in the circle was the difference.

Fennelly commended the SB coach for landing on his feet and getting into the D.C. tournament, he also said it was a better city for learning stuff between games than N.M.
 
8-3 win over Northridge in the nightcap.

Two more games today:
2 p.m. CT vs San Diego
9:30 p.m. CT vs Loyola Marymount
 
Late-night loss to Loyola Marymount (4-1), and then dropped a 1-0 decision to #5 Washington this morning.

10-4 on the season, with 5 games in Tucson next weekend.
