Illinois with a 4th and short down near the goal line with a chance to tie Michigan … and the entire right side of the line jumps early.

Better Baylor than ISU pulling a patented Cyclone Special BCS/playoff buster next week.
Yeah kinda surprised with the first half score. Michigan is a second half team but still expected more then a 4 point lead.
I really don’t get why so many people here don’t want Iowa State to win next week if TCU is unbeaten
We had many chances to have a decent season in a year with average expectations but missed. Why play spoiler just to make a bowl in Mobile, AL? Plus, I don't want Campbell and Pollard to have any doubt that offensive staff changes are needed or we will see the same crap next year.
I watch 3-4 games in every time slot every Saturday and that has been a huge thing this year even with Top 10 teams, let alone those outside the Top 25. It's fascinating for many reasons... Is NIL/realignment turning people off? Are the luxurious of home more enticing? Are costs just too great for the return? My guess is it's a little of everything.
Of course today could just be that it's a holiday week, with cold weather, with the home team being average this year.

Everything you mentioned is right for poor attendance except for the realignment/NIL stuff.
A quick Kick! I have seen a couple of those in person over the years, but it has been a while.
I know Baylor has a bad history with poor attendance but you'd think TCU fans would gobble up those tickets. Closer proximity than IA-ISU, better teams, and bigger populated areas.
I just saw the score 13-3 TAMU. I can't imagine the "12th Man" is very thrilled with that score on SEC cupcake weekend.
