Creighton has to top the list with UNC of most disappointing teams so far

My December assessment of North Carolina -- it made some sense in preseason to get #1 rank (or at least top 5) ... late upsurge, deep tournament run, returning a lot of the key roster/starters.

But it's easy to forget, UNC was 8 seed entering NCAAT ... currently somewhat near that 8/9 seed range. Well below "expectation," but expectation might have been too elevated.
 
I think Ewing got a 3-year extension last spring ... somehow.

Georgetown might need to venture outside its inner-unit.
Wow that's crazy. Feel like they have been like just under or at .500 the last few years and haven't really sniffed the tourney

That's the crazy thing about the tournament. Teams that may not have been among the best catch fire and immortalize themselves. Makes it hard to come back and duplicate the feat.

They were riding the hype of playing good in the tournament last year but they were a totally different team. Nemhard was hurt so they played through Alexander offensively. They were better that way.
