Ashley is #3 in Big 12 career scoring - who are #1 and #2?
Best exemplified by this game:Riley…pure volume shooter
I figured it would be Griner & Paris. Didn't look it up though
I think the first bullet contains a premise that is looking less likely...having 10 more games.2/13 notes:
- Ashley is 191 points away from 3000 for her career. There are 6 regular season games remaining. If we play 10 more games (the likely minimum barring an upset in either postseason tournament, game cancellations, or injury), she'd have to average 19.1 ppg to get there. She's averaging 20.0.
- Emily is remains #2 in single-season FT% at 92.5%. She'll have to make her next 15 in a row to pass Brynn Williamson at 93.9%.
- Emily is 23 behind Wilson for #3 in career assists. She is 179 behind #1 Moody and 153 behind #2 Medders, both of whom she will catch next season as long as nothing keeps her from playing a normal number of games.
- Morgan is still #3 in career FG% at 58.5% (Welle is #1 at 64.1% and Jaspers is #2 at 61.9%). She'd need to make her next 24 FG to pass Jaspers, and she'd have to miss her next 24 FG to fall behind Cain (#4 at 54.0%).
We will be the higher seed in our first Big 12 Tourney game if we are seeded anything except 5, 6, 9, or 10. We could reasonably end up anywhere between 3 and 7, so we very well could end up an underdog in our first game. The only seed we could get that we should win without worry is the 7 seed (facing 10 seed TCU).I think the first bullet contains a premise that is looking less likely...having 10 more games.
