I get it that people don’t need to be an ass on Twitter to Tom and Dave on their way out, but expressing that we are glad that changes are made is not a big deal. This is big boy football where they both made a lot of money. It needed to happen and they both had to know it was coming.

Agree. When you make nearly $1M a year to coach a game.. It's hard to have a ton of empathy as a shareholder of the program. It's our capital paying his salary.

You don't have to be a total jerk, but this is the business. When you historically underperform. Change is needed.

Not arguing, but I would love to see this stat with non Manning coached QBs as I wonder if lack of film & scouting has a lot to do with it. Either way QBs have regressed in Manning led offenses at ISU

There doesn’t need to be a fundamental shift on offense. Just execution.

I think the number one thing is OL play. If you can't get good OL play you are toast as an offense. ISU got bailed out by top flight NFL running backs when they had mediocre lines. You have to upgrade their first.

I had broken it first thing yesterday AM in the Premium Board. But that’s easy because I don’t have to make living off of access to the coaches like Chris does. That doesn’t mean I have more or less access than Chris. He has to respect a certain order of events and whatnot. Rite burg is in between Chris and I in that he can post it still without having to look CMC in the face.

Yeah I think turning into some air raid team is ill advised. Our focus on a strong run game, tight ends, short throws is how we compete with more talented teams.
