Hard to see the eastern winner keeping up w/ Phx when they playing at their best... but thats why they play the game I guess.
No way. That would shock me. Even though there is no damage, a hyperextended knee can take a good 2 weeks, even then, it’s unlikely he will be able to play normal on it.
Pat Beverly is a punk ass *****. I have no idea how that dude has made it this long in the NBA. Westbrook said it best, he’s fooling everyone, he doesn’t play any defense, just running around. Talks a **** ton for someone that hasn’t done anything noteworthy at all.
I get that people are excited to see someone other than Lebron or steph in the finals but superstars carry any sport. These finals are going to get pretty bad ratings.

Or it could lead to another injury. All you have to do is look at when KD tried to come back in that Toronto finals.
It was my understanding they were going to have to tear the tendon to repair it. So he might as well have played on it. Wasn't going to make it worse than it was eventually going to be.
I understand that. To the average fan this won’t be something to tune into. I will watch for sure but I’m not wrong in this regard.
I am also ready for some new blood. CP3 gets to play for a ring. And now I am picking the Hawks and Trae Young as their opponent. Hopefully Young can play (bad foot/ankle ?)
So it could be Chris Paul and Booker vs. Trae Young (Don't know too much about the other Hawks yet). That could be interesting.

Who cares? Is there some reason the NBA needs big ratings besides Sports Talk radio terds talking about it? Is the league going to fold? Are players going to some other league? Are sponsors and advertising partners running away from the league? Are they losing Twitter and Instagram presence?
Sure a big Lebron vs KD matchup would be great but that’s icing on the cake from the baseline. The baseline is still really good. The terd sports media wants to create controversy, because as @ChrisMWilliams said in another thread, “what do you want them to talk about all day? The AL Central?”.
I mean, Chris Paul and Devin Booker are some start power. It's time for the younger players to start taking over.
I don’t know if Chris Paul can be classified as a younger player. I think he’s about my age.
