2021 NBA playoffs thread

Wasn't he only at OU for a year? We didn't have a chance to really hate him but he was definitely a punk and my only reason I didn't like him was he didn't seem to be much of a teammate but that's all heresay/speculation.

Agree on it being fun watching someone emerge as a villain though.

A rail thin small villain at that.

I wonder what the Sixers could get for Simmons? And also it is kind of crazy how bad the Sixers high picks have been for them except for Embiid. Simmons isn't bad of course but nearly what he was expected to be. But my clue was his year at LSU. Just didn't seem to have the competitiveness needed to be an elite player and that is why they weren't very good. And he hasn't worked on his game at all.

The Sixers could have had Tatum. Tatum and Embiid would be insane. They also passed on taking Booker as many teams did.

What an epic meldown by Philly. Simmons was absolutely scared to have the ball in the 4th quarter. Made a couple defensive plays but was a liability on the offensive end for most of the second half.
Also, Thybulle had a just inexcusable foul on Huerter.

I was leaning on taking the Bucks to win it now but I think Phoenix might be the best team currently.
If Leonard can get back, I think the Clippers win that series.

It's nearly as baffling as the whole Markelle Fultz forgetting how to shoot thing. How in the world can you not be able to even attempt a wide open 15 footer? How does that happen? How can you as a well-paid professional athlete not get in the gym and figure it out in the offseason?

I guess it comes down to just not giving much of a ****.

He was drafted to be a Jordan, but he wants to be a Rodman is what it boils down to IMO

The villain for me would have been Embiid and the Sixers. I don't really hate any of the teams left. LAC would be the hardest team for me to cheer for though. A case could be made for ATL, simply because they are the "Hawks" and do have variations of black/yellow in the jersey ensemble from time to time.
